Starting Thame Aromas was a leap of faith, born from a deep desire to build something meaningful while balancing the whirlwind of family life. It hasn’t been an easy road—not by any stretch of the imagination—but every challenge has shaped both me and the business into what we are today.

The highs, though, are worth every ounce of effort. Watching Thame Aromas flourish, seeing customers connect with the products I’ve poured my heart into, and knowing that I’ve created something from scratch that resonates with others—

it’s those little victories that remind me why I started this journey in the first place.

 

One of the most profound lessons I’ve learned is that if you truly believe in something, then anything is possible. Faith in your vision, combined with hard work and perseverance, can turn even the most daunting challenges into stepping stones toward success.

This story isn’t just about me—it’s about navigating life’s complexities, finding strength in the face of adversity, and embracing the magic of possibility. I hope that in sharing my journey, others are inspired to chase their own dreams, no matter how difficult the path may seem.

 

I was working as a self employed beauty therapist in my home town in Thame, Oxfordshire in 2021 where I wanted to offer my clients a tranquil setting to enable them to escape, relax and unwind,

not only in the treatments, but in the calmness of my environment with scents, fresh flowers and music.

I wanted to find a brand that suited the modern rustic style of my home, providing scent longevity and affordability, also in the long run being able to upsell these products to my clients. The thought of creating my own products seemed like a possibility and the seed was then planted.

 After much research I finally decided to create my own brand and bring Thame Aromas to our beautiful market town in January 2022.

As the business was growing I took a step back from beauty and now run Thame Aromas full time.
